What citation index database does Rensselaer Libraries have? How do I find h-Index, CiteScore and other metrics?

Resources for using Scopus

Answer

Rensselaer Libraries provides access to Scopus, an abstract and citation database comparable to Web of Science. In addition to abstracts and metadata, Scopus provides metrics and analytical tools as well as quality measures like h-Index and h-graph, CiteScore, SJR (SCImago Journal Rank) and SNIP (Source Normalized Impact per Paper). Scopus also contains many other features such as author profiles, the ability to save queries, and setting alerts. The libraries has a guide for helping users learn to get the most out of Scopus.
