LibAnswers: Dutchess CC - Public FAQ

1. 1.  Start at the library homepage and enter in the title or subject of what you are trying to find in the RitzDiscovery search bar.

3. 2.  The default is to search Everything.  This will bring up both books, eBooks and articles that are available on whatever topic you are searching.  You can, if you want at this time, change the search to Online Access Materials which will automatically limit to digital items.

5. 3.  Select your limiters (located on the left side of the screen): select Resource Type, then select Books. Then select Available Online near the top of the left column. This will give you the eBooks that you can immediately access. You may also want to limit on Creation Date to narrow your search to a given publication date range. 

4.  If prompted, use your myDCC login and password to get into the title.

Alternatively, from the Library homepage, find the eBooks link in the middle of the page in the Research & Study box. 

1. Click the eBooks link.

2. Either use the box labeled Search eBooks to search across multiple eBook collections or select an individual collection in the eBook Collections box to find a title you are interested in.
