Where can I find career information?

A great starting point for career research is the Ritz Library Career Research Guide

All of our subject guides also have a tab dedicated to career information like these:

Accounting Careers

Exercise Science Careers

  • Perhaps the most important link you will find on every one of our career pages is for the Occupational Outlook Handbook, which is published by the U.S. government. The OOH provides summary information about most careers, including job prospects and similar occupations.

Another excellent resource you will find on all of our career pages is a link to O*NET (The Occupational Information Network), which is a free database developed for the U.S. Department of Labor, offering free analysis of skills necessary for specific career fields.
